Cinetis develops technologies applied to motion picture film scanning.

Cinetis has conceived and manufactured an affordable film scanner for digitizing 8mm and 16mm film stocks in SDTV (720×576) resolution. Every frame is shot individually and transmitted to a computer which stores the data in a video file. When a soundtrack is available, it is acquired and resynchronized to the pictures in real time during the process.
